Process

process

All players (U10-U21) must attend assessments according to their 2027 age category.

Purpose: Assessments focus on player development, providing a platform for players to showcase their skills in a positive, inclusive environment. Coaches use this process to place players in appropriate teams. No coaching is provided; players demonstrate their technical abilities, decision-making, and game awareness.

Structure/Process: Each age group (U10-U18) participates in two one-hour assessment sessions. A Lead coach and at least two others oversee the process, using small-sided games and technical activities to assess players based on:

  • Technical: Dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting.
  • Social/Emotional: Decision-making, communication, respect.
  • Physical: Agility, balance, coordination, speed.
  • Tactical (U12+): Game awareness, both in and out of possession.

Assessments are age-specific, recognizing the varied development levels within each group.

Outcome: After assessments, players receive team placement offers via email, with 24 hours to accept or decline. Once a spot is accepted, no refunds will be issued. Full refund policy is available here.

For questions about the team placements, contact Lead Technical Director - Jay Da Costa.

For other inquiries, please wait 24 hours before reaching out and contact us here
